Convenient to use
This Chefman electric smokeless indoor grill with nonstick coating is very convenient to use especially if winter season this will be very useful. Im also amazed its really smokeless it is. Easy to set up and clean as well.

Loses heat ability over time.
At first, heat was just adequate (at max) for burgers and even 3/4 in steaks. But over time, heat dropped off requiring more and more cook time. Also, its a contact type grill. If food curls up, it won't cook well -- need things to be very flat. Cleanup on top was easy. But underneath, a burned on buildup requires a stiff brush and lots of effort -- never could get it all clean. At 1100W, it needs more powerful element to remain useful. I'm looking to replace it.

    Get time right
    This is a good grill but i thought it would be a little bigger and ive only used it three times so far but i cant really determine how long to leave the meat on. The first time i had to leave some chicken thighs on for an hour and 20 minutes before they were done. The other two times i cooked steak and i like my steak med well. The first time i cooked it about 30 min and allmost burned it and the second time just about 20 min and it was too red in the middle and not done enough. I guess i need to practice with it more and my asparagus i never can get right either.

    It's decent
    The only reason I gave it two stars is because the drip pan immediately peeled. And the little shards of Teflon got everywhere. I recommend wrapping the drop pan in foil for easy clean up and to prevent it from peeling and bubbling up.

    Cost was great, using more than I thought.
    Grill is great!!! Used right on counter top, grilled shrimp and salmon, came out wonderful. Like the grill top had different heating temperatures. Very easy clean up.

    Has 3 cooking zones but only one control dial.
    Nonstick is nice and slippery. Only cooks when on high. Wish they would have advertised the 3 “cooking zones” on the package. They were honest but not upfront.
